Job Information
This position is for a US based company (you will be working remotely)
Working hours will be based on US East Coast working hours (flexible within an hour or two)
Sys Admin/DevOps
The working hours at a minimum would be East Coast US (GMT-5) – if we deviate a little by an hour or two we can manage with that.
Our infrastructure is all hosted in AWS, some bullet points below that will help with skills required:
* Ubuntu based Linux instances
* Network load balancers
* Spot/Auto Scaling instances
* RDS database management – MSSQL/MySQL/Aurora
Responsibilities:
* Capacity planning – monitoring resources on EC2 and RDS, configuring as needed
* Security – Firewall/Security Group monitoring, updates
* Infrastructure design – networking, instance groups, data flows
* Automation – Python/Bash scripting is a nice to have, as well as AWS CLI knowledge
