My client is a leading supplier of high end homeware nationally. They are looking to employ a Marketing Manager who is creative, has a passion for the the decor world and an excellent understanding / experience with e-commerce.
Duties & Responsibilities
We are looking for a full time creative and enthusiastic Marketing Manager to support and manage our brand marketing efforts. You will report directly to our Creative Director while working closely with the rest of the sales and buying teams and managing a small marketing team.
Lead a team of marketing staff to maintain and enhance competitiveness in current and new markets.
Translate the business objectives into a concise, effective marketing plan including all elements of the marketing mix and digital elements.
Make data-driven decisions to move the team and product forward and hit the business’s strategic goals.
Develop the strategy for pricing, messaging, packaging, promotion and selling of our products.
Monitor competitor activity and when required, conduct competitive research and assist the sales team to use this information to drive sales
Analyse market trends and recommend changes to the marketing and business development strategies based on analysis and feedback.
Develop, implement (with the marketing team) and monitor marketing campaigns to ensure effective execution.
Manage the marketing budget and ensure that all marketing activities occur within this budget
Ensure the effective distribution of all marketing materials
Speak and present both internally and externally to promote the story of our products.
Provide strategic guidance on identifying and engaging with media, analysts, and influencers.
Evaluate market reactions to promotions, activities etc. and industry trends to ensure the timely adjustment of marketing strategies to meet a changing market and competitive conditions.
Write comprehensive marketing reports
Drive the E-Commerce business with previous knowledge of online marketing communication such as SEO & PPC and other
Desired Experience & Qualification
National Senior Certificate
Diploma or Degree in Marketing Management
Experience in the décor and design industry would be an advantage
Digital Marketing and Online experience
Minimum 5 years Marketing Management experience
Minimum 5 years’ people management experience
Enthusiastic team member with the interpersonal skills to build and nurture relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
Excellent communication skills, good attention to detail, including a good command of English (both written and spoken)
